The editors of IJMEDU appreciate the controversy within the academic community with regard to paraphrasing and the use of nearly identical phrases to explain common methodologies or historical/scientific facts. We, therefore, urge our authors to err on the side of caution and provide citations whenever possible to avoid even the appearance of impropriety and to maintain the highest standard of ethics.
